DUYA provides Certified tutors during after school hours that focus on youth development in academics with the implementation of social- emotional learning.
Homework Lab: Certified tutors provide group tutoring services for up to 24 students that support homework assignments only. Services are typically provided on a weekly basis for a number of hours and weeks. Student to tutor ratio is 1:6 or 1:8, depending on the learning styles of the students.
High Dosage Tutoring: Certified tutors provide group academic intervention for up to 24 students that focus primarily on CA common cores. Services include diagnostic testing (i-Ready), cohort model, guided lesson plans, progress reports, parent orientations, low tutor ration, classroom structure, test prep questions (i-Ready). Services are typically provided on a cohort basis on a per semester or annually basis.
PBL Group Projects: Certified tutors provide group project-based learning activities for up to 24 students that focus on Entrepreneurship, common core standards, and career exploration. Services are typically provided on a weekly basis for a number of hours and weeks.
